Our Story
Mckay Games, we are an Indi Game Studio based in the UK.
We started out during COVID in 2022 as a way to keep us from going crazy for lockdown. Our First game was Called Pub Runner, where the goal was to run to the pub. This was an endless runner released on iOS and Android. We have since stoped development on this and the game is no longer available.
Our main focus is mobile games with the aim to release a game on Steam at some point in the near future.
We develop games on the Godot Game Engine, as well an Unreal and in the past Buildbox and Manu.
With the death of Buildbox and Manu we are mainly developing on Godot as Unreal is a bit over kill for the game we have in the pipe line for now.
We are also remaking a few Games we had originally released using Buildbox using Godot. We did experiment with Unreal but felt that it was not the right game engine for the task. With the improvement of Godot it was the clear winner.
Our Mission
Our Mission is simple, Make Games that our Fun to play that are no loaded with ads and IAP (In App purchases)
Our Goals
Our Goal is simple, similar to “Our Mission” we aim to make fun games that you the players want to play.
We aim for our Games not to be filled with Micro transactions, In App purchases and loaded with ads.
You will see Ads from time to time as we need to make an income and we want to keep our games free.
You will not see and ad every time you die or if you have purchased a game. The IAP (In App purchases) you will see in our mobile game will be to removed the ads.
